Plain-English marketplace conditions for selling your content on Layerheart during beta.
Creator share
Layerheart is structured as a creator marketplace. Creators keep ownership of their work and sell access through Layerheart; Layerheart facilitates hosting, checkout, delivery, review, support, and marketplace operations in exchange for a platform share.
Creator earnings are calculated from the listing sale price before Stripe fees, refunds, disputes, taxes, or currency conversion costs. Layerheart keeps the remaining platform share and uses it to cover payment processing, hosting, support, review, product development, and marketplace operations.

Marketplace sales are currently priced and tracked in USD, so tier thresholds and payout minimums are applied in USD. If Layerheart enables additional currencies, equivalent thresholds may be calculated using Stripe conversion data or another reasonable exchange-rate source.
Confirmed gross sales exclude refunded, disputed, charged back, fraudulent, self-purchase, or otherwise invalid purchases. Tier upgrades may be automated or assigned manually by Layerheart. Tiers do not normally downgrade automatically, and tier changes do not affect sales already completed before the change. Layerheart may adjust a tier for abuse, fraud, repeated refunds, copyright issues, trust concerns, direct agreement, creator quality, or strategic partnership.
Payout schedule
Layerheart collects marketplace payments first and pays creators later in grouped payout runs.
- Payouts are scheduled for the 15th day of the following month.
- Example: a sale made on June 1 becomes eligible for payout on July 15.
- Payouts are grouped by creator and currency.
- Stripe Connect must be complete and able to receive payouts.
Minimum price
Paid marketplace listings must be priced at 2.99 USD or higher. Free listings remain available as free downloads.
Layerheart does not currently support Pay What You Want pricing. This avoids micro-payments where payment processing fees can exceed the platform share.
Creator file storage
Uploading downloadable PDFs or 3D miniature ZIPs requires an active Premium subscription. Free accounts can publish Layerheart content and images, but cannot attach large downloadable files.
Premium currently includes 25 GB of creator storage. PDFs are limited to five per listing and 250 MB each; 3D ZIP packs are limited to 1 GB per file. Storage limits may change as the service evolves.
Tax profile, VAT, and reporting
Creators must complete a creator tax profile before receiving marketplace payouts. Layerheart may require legal name, tax residence country, tax identification number, VAT ID where applicable, Stripe Connect identity checks, and acceptance of creator marketplace terms.
Layerheart may calculate, collect, withhold, report, or remit VAT, sales tax, platform taxes, payment fees, or similar amounts where required by law or by a payment provider. Stripe may also collect tax or identity information directly from creators or buyers.
Layerheart may collect information needed for platform reporting regimes such as DAC7, payment-provider compliance, fraud controls, refund handling, chargeback handling, or marketplace accounting. Creators are responsible for their own income tax, business registration, VAT registration where applicable, social security, accounting records, invoices, and local tax obligations arising from their creator income. Nothing in these terms is tax advice.
Content license
By submitting or publishing content, the creator grants Layerheart a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide platform license to host, store, reproduce, display, process, distribute, provide access to, and technically modify the content only as needed to operate Layerheart and deliver purchases or free claims to users.
This license also allows Layerheart to show previews, thumbnails, titles, creator names, covers, and short excerpts for marketplace discovery, product pages, moderation, support, social sharing, and reasonable Layerheart marketing. The creator keeps ownership of their content.
Refunds, disputes, and chargebacks
If a buyer receives a refund, opens a payment dispute, or a chargeback occurs before the creator payout is executed, the related creator payout may be voided, held, reduced, or reviewed.
- Creators are not paid for refunded or successfully disputed purchases.
- Layerheart may delay, hold, or adjust payouts if fraud, self-purchase abuse, copyright issues, buyer complaints, suspicious payment activity, payment-provider review, or unusual refund/dispute activity are detected.
- Payment holds should be proportionate to the issue. Layerheart will normally review non-dispute holds within 30 days. Stripe disputes, chargebacks, legal claims, and copyright investigations may remain held until the payment provider, claimant, or competent authority resolves them.
- Layerheart may remove or unpublish listings that cause repeated refunds, disputes, or support issues.
Content rules
Creators may only publish content they own, created themselves, have permission to use, or are legally allowed to share.
- No stolen, copied, infringing, hateful, abusive, or private material.
- No AI-generated mechanics, statblocks, lore, descriptions, names, artwork, or cover images, except grammar and spelling correction on human-authored text.
- Listings may be reviewed, rejected, hidden, edited, or removed by Layerheart.
Beta notice
The marketplace is in beta. Tools, payout handling, review rules, creator share tiers, tax controls, and publishing features may evolve as Layerheart grows.
Material changes to creator share percentages, payout timing, minimum payout thresholds, tax profile requirements, or core selling conditions will normally be notified at least 30 days before they take effect, unless a faster change is required for legal, tax, fraud, payment-provider, security, or urgent operational reasons.
Termination
A creator may stop selling by unpublishing listings where the product allows it, contacting Layerheart, or disconnecting Stripe Connect. Layerheart may suspend or terminate creator access for breach of these terms, legal risk, repeated quality issues, fraud, payment risk, or harmful conduct.
Termination does not cancel valid purchases or free claims already completed. Buyers may keep access to purchased or claimed content unless a refund, dispute, copyright claim, legal order, or serious policy issue requires access to be revoked. Valid unpaid creator earnings remain payable under the payout schedule, subject to refunds, disputes, chargebacks, minimum thresholds, and lawful holds.
Liability limit
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Layerheart's liability to a creator for marketplace issues is limited to the greater of 100 USD or the platform fees retained by Layerheart from that creator's paid marketplace sales during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
This limit does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including fraud, intentional misconduct, or any mandatory consumer or platform rights that apply under law.
Governing law and disputes
These creator terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to mandatory rights that may apply under EU or local law. Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, disputes relating to creator marketplace activity shall be resolved by the competent courts of Madrid, Spain.
Before starting a formal claim, creators should contact Layerheart so both sides can try to resolve the issue in good faith.
