REFUNDS
How Layerheart handles Premium refunds, marketplace refunds, failed delivery, disputes, and chargebacks.
Premium subscriptions
You can cancel Premium through the billing portal where available. Cancelled subscriptions normally remain active until the end of the paid billing period.
Premium refunds may be considered for duplicate payments, obvious billing errors, accidental renewals reported promptly, major service failure, or where required by law. Layerheart may decline refunds for normal use of Premium features, partial months, or cancellation after substantial use, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
Marketplace purchases
Digital marketplace content is usually delivered immediately or shortly after checkout confirmation. Refunds may be considered for duplicate purchases, failed delivery that Layerheart cannot repair, materially misleading listings, technical corruption, unauthorized payment, copyright removal, or where required by law.
Layerheart may decline refunds when the content has been delivered and the issue is preference, table fit, balance taste, or a buyer changed their mind after accessing the digital content, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
Where consumer law gives cancellation or withdrawal rights for digital content, checkout or account flows may require consent to immediate delivery and acknowledgement that those rights may be affected once delivery begins.
Creator payout impact
If a marketplace purchase is refunded, disputed, charged back, or flagged before creator payout, the related creator payout may be voided, reduced, or held. This is why creator payouts are grouped after a delay instead of paid instantly.
If a refund or dispute happens after a creator has already been paid, Layerheart may offset the amount against future payouts where allowed by law, Stripe rules, and the creator terms.
Chargebacks and abuse
Payment disputes and chargebacks are handled through Stripe and the card/payment network process. Layerheart may suspend marketplace access, creator payouts, or account features during fraud, self-purchase, payment abuse, copyright, or chargeback investigation.
Repeated refund abuse, suspicious purchases, or attempts to manipulate creator earnings may lead to account restrictions.
How to request help
Contact info@layerforged.com with the account email, purchase title, date, Stripe receipt if available, and a short description of the problem. Layerheart may ask for additional information to verify the payment or repair delivery.
